Which Launch Monitor is right for me?
There are a lot of options on the market all with different features / costs / subscriptions, so it can feel overwhelming. How much space do I need?
Camera based launch monitors (photometric) will need slightly less space as they set up next to the ball.

Radar based launch monitors set up behind the ball so they will need more space.

How much does a launch monitor cost?
For the best portable devices to use on the golf course we recommend the PRGR or Rapsodo MLM, available for around £200-300
For a bit more ball data and some club data the Rapsodo MLM2PRO, Square Golf, and Voice Caddie SC4 Pro are under £1,000
For around £3,000 - FlightScope Mevo+ with the Pro Package and Face Impact Location upgrades delivers unrivalled value for money with professional level data for a fraction of the cost
If you're looking something a bit different, then around £5,000 is the Full Swing KIT - to train like Tiger Woods and Jon Rahm!
For a pga professional level data requirement it's £15,000+ for a FlightScope X3C or TrackMan 4
The golf launch monitor is usually the largest expense of a golf simulator setup, but it's not the only cost so remember to factor in other costs for example software packages, simulator enclosures, impact screen, gaming PC, projector (not always needed)
Do I need to use special golf balls?
You can use normal golf balls however the results (particularly the spin data) will not be as accurate as it should be. We would recommend purchasing ball tracking stickers or RCT balls to ensure the best results from your launch monitor. These stickers/RCT balls have been developed specifically with the technology to deliver the best results.
