FlightScope metallic stickers are aluminium ball-tracking dots designed for indoor use with FlightScope launch monitors. Each roll contains 1,000 stickers, enough for hundreds of practice sessions, coaching appointments, and simulator rounds. When hitting into a net or screen with limited ball flight, the radar does not have enough distance to detect spin from the ball alone. The aluminium sticker gives it a small, highly reflective surface to lock onto, producing a distinct signal variation as the ball rotates so the radar can measure spin rate, spin axis, and related rotation data reliably in as little as 8 feet of ball flight.

These stickers are compatible with the Mevo Gen2, Mevo+, original Mevo, and FlightScope X3C.

Each of those devices ships with 100 stickers in the box, so this roll of 1,000 is the bulk replenishment pack for golfers, coaches, and facilities that go through stickers regularly. Stickers are not needed outdoors where unrestricted ball flight gives the radar enough data to track spin naturally.

Key Features of FlightScope Metallic Stickers

  • 1,000 aluminium stickers per roll - a bulk replenishment pack that lasts through extended indoor training blocks, coaching sessions, and simulator play without frequent reordering
  • Accurate indoor spin tracking - provides a consistent reflective point on the ball surface so the radar can measure backspin, sidespin, and spin axis reliably, even in short indoor setups with as little as 8 feet of ball flight
  • Simple one-sticker application - place one sticker on the target-facing side of the ball (away from the launch monitor and clubface) before each shot; replace when the sticker starts to peel or fray for the most consistent data
  • Compatible across the FlightScope range - works with the Mevo Gen2, Mevo+, original Mevo, and X3C for a consistent experience across devices
  • Indoor and limited-flight use only - not required outdoors with full ball flight, and FlightScope advises against using stickers (or RCT balls) when putting

Product FAQs

What are FlightScope metallic stickers used for?

FlightScope metallic stickers are small aluminium dots that you place on a golf ball to help FlightScope launch monitors measure spin accurately in indoor and limited-flight environments. When hitting into a net or impact screen with only 8 to 10 feet of ball flight, the radar does not have enough distance to detect spin from the ball alone. The reflective sticker gives the radar a distinct surface marker to track as the ball rotates, producing reliable readings for spin rate, spin axis, and related data parameters.

How many stickers are in a roll?

Each roll contains 1,000 aluminium stickers. For reference, every FlightScope launch monitor ships with 100 stickers in the box, so this roll provides ten times the included quantity.

Which FlightScope launch monitors are compatible with these stickers?

FlightScope metallic stickers are compatible with the Mevo Gen2, Mevo+, original Mevo, and FlightScope X3C. All of these are radar-based units that benefit from a reflective sticker for indoor spin tracking.

Where should I place the sticker on the golf ball?

Place one sticker on the ball so that it faces the target (the net or screen you are hitting into). The sticker should sit on the side of the ball directly away from the launch monitor and the clubface. Only one sticker per ball is needed. Press the sticker firmly onto a clean, dry ball so it sits flush against the surface with no lifted edges.

Do I need metallic stickers for outdoor use?

No. When hitting outdoors with full, unrestricted ball flight, FlightScope launch monitors can track spin without a sticker. The stickers are only necessary in indoor or limited-flight setups where the ball travels a short distance before hitting a net or screen.

How often should I replace the sticker on a ball?

Replace the sticker whenever it starts to peel, fray, or show visible wear. A worn sticker can produce inconsistent spin readings. For coaching sessions, club fittings, or simulator play where accuracy matters most, starting each session with a fresh sticker is recommended.

Can I use Titleist RCT balls instead of metallic stickers?

Yes. Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x RCT (Radar Capture Technology) balls have a radar-reflective coating built into the cover and do not require a separate sticker for indoor spin tracking. However, RCT balls limit you to a specific ball model. The aluminium stickers allow you to use any golf ball you prefer, including simulator-specific foam balls and range balls.

Can I use generic aluminium stickers instead of FlightScope ones?

Some golfers have reported success with third-party metallic dot stickers. However, FlightScope stickers are manufactured to a specific size, thickness, and reflectivity that is tested and validated with their radar systems. Using a non-standard sticker may affect spin accuracy. For the most reliable results, the official FlightScope stickers are recommended.

Will metallic stickers damage my impact screen?

Metallic stickers can contribute to additional wear on an impact screen over time, as the sticker edges create a slightly rougher surface than a plain golf ball. The effect is gradual rather than immediate. To reduce screen wear, replace stickers that have started to lift at the edges and inspect your balls for damage before each session.

Do I need stickers when putting indoors?

No. FlightScope advises that aluminium stickers and RCT balls should not be used when putting. The putting mode on FlightScope launch monitors uses different tracking parameters that do not require a reflective marker on the ball.
